Why Brass?
Brass is widely used for gas valves due to its strength, corrosion resistance, and excellent machinability.
We mainly work with:
We use HPb59-1 brass, equivalent to CW617N (EN standard),
a proven material used in gas cylinder valves for oxygen, CO₂, LPG, and more.
For oxygen use, we ensure aluminum content stays below 2.5% as required by ISO 11114-1 for ignition resistance.
Material Inspection — Not Just “Usable,” but “Right for the Job”
We source brass rods from top-tier domestic suppliers, each batch accompanied by:
- Furnace number and melt record
- Chemical composition report
- Mechanical property test results
Upon arrival, every batch goes through our in-house inspection process:
- Spectrometer testing to verify alloy composition
- Hardness testing to confirm strength consistency
- Surface inspection to detect cracks, inclusions, or oxidation spots
Only fully approved materials are released for cutting and production.
Storage & Traceability
All brass materials are recorded with batch numbers and warehouse logs.
Each valve body we produce can be traced back to its raw brass source.
We Don’t Follow Minimums — We Set Our Own Standard
Some factories see brass as “close enough is good enough.”
